Pricing Manager - San Francisco Bay Area
This role will interact heavily with the services product managers for each lines of business within the Services Portfolio team and will be responsible for global pricing strategy. The chosen individual will be the primary interaction point from the field for services pricing and budgetary pricing estimates. In addition, this role will also gather competitive data and make pricing recommendations to the services product managers based on pricing trends in the market.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop service pricing strategies and models to meet various market segments and theater needs.
- Manage services pricing strategy through the entire service product life cycle
- Research competitive pricing trends, analyze data and make recommendations on pricing strategy globally.
- Develop, and maintain standard pricing for the services portfolio
- Lead monthly activities for service SKU creation and pricelist publication
- Develop pricing metrics/reports and track trends across theaters, customer segments and products.
- Keep abreast of services industry trends and ensure the Services pricing portfolio is aligned with it to ensure maximum services revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
- Represent services organization in cross-functional project teams to develop pricing models, processes and systematic implementation.
- Drive services pricing and new offering requirements new projects through New Product Introduction process and work with product team and service cross functional team to
- Collaborate effectively with other services product managers to build and maintain a comprehensive services pricing portfolio that meets customer lifecycle needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of working experience ideally in a medium/large established company in software/networking industry.
- Strong pricing and financial modeling knowledge and experience
- Proven ability to develop pricing strategy and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Excel wizard with superior modeling skills. Experience with statistical tools, pivot tables, macros, and other data analysis tools required.
- Knowledge and experience in services preferred
- Good project and program management skills.
- Skilled at working effectively and collaborate with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to distill large amounts of data into simple concepts and recommendations.
- Must demonstrate leadership skills, high energy, initiative and creativity.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively across multiple functions and with all levels of management.

- BS in any field with finance major or MBA preferred.
