Pricing Analyst - Asheboro, NC
Job Summary
Responsible for executing resin pass-throughs, new product validation quotations and various price realization efforts to improve pricing and profitability on existing business. Also works with company’s cross-functional teams to gather, prepare, analyze, and share cost and pricing data for various executive and functional level departments. This work will cover areas ranging from selling price updates to quotation support, internal reports, and customer required reports in order to monitor and help maintain and increase company profitability.

This job requires an associate’s degree, preferably in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and/or Marketing and 2 + years of experience, or equivalent. The position also requires strong business and financial acumen in addition to proficiency with computers including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, internet software, etc. The applicant must have excellent business writing skills and high mathematical skills. Finally, a person in this position needs to possess good interpersonal skills to work well with other people both internally and externally. Prior experience in a direct pricing role is a plus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Provide reports and information for commercial customer contacts as requested.
· Manage timely selling price updates per customers assigned by following contract requirements.
· Monitor resin, raw materials, packaging, freight, and all other costing components to ensure that pricing is updated to customers according to the contract agreements between customers and the company.
· Responsible for utilizing market, customer and internal financial data to develop and execute the pricing Plan For Every Customer (PFEC) for assigned customers and markets.
· Work closely with Program Management team to prepare and analyze data from Bills of Material’s, yield reports, and sales information in order to ensure that the company is maintaining profitability. Alert program management, sales and operations teams to programs that need further evaluation and potential action.
· Become knowledgeable and proficient with the IQ business system in order to excel in the tasks listed above
· Support estimation teams working with Tooling, Automation, Design, and Operations to gather, prepare and analyze data for customer requested quotations.
· Assist Director of Commercial Development in facilitating various key initiatives as assigned.
· May require limited travel to support the sales team
